****A message from the HOA Board****
On to the next month, this year flying by fast. We had a great 4th of July celebration. Thanks to the American Legion for the opening ceremony in the court yard, it was a great way to start the celebration of our countries 250th birthday.
The golf cart parade started at 8:30, there were 13 golf carts and 2 trikes in the parade. There were 3 prizes for best decorated, 1st place Ernie and Carolyn Tejada, 2nd place was Kevin and Karen Hilty, and 3rd place went to Craig and Nancy Burton.
We had a 50/50 drawing and the lucky winner was Frida Pigman, congratulations.
Audrey Patterson and Bruce Rawson won most patriotic outfits. Congratulations to both for showing their patriotic pride. Thanks to everyone that wore patriotic colors to show off the pride they have for our country, the hall was full of red, white, and blue, couldn’t have been any better.
A special thanks to Rick Moore for all the patriotic songs he sang while everyone was enjoying their meal. That helped set the mood for the celebration. Thank you Rick we really appreciate taking time to entertain the community.
There was a scavenger hunt, a cake walk, boat race, and horse race. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves playing the games. Thanks to all who came and participated in the festivities.
Last but not least we the HOA board, want to express our gratitude and appreciation to all the volunteers who helped set up, managed the activities, and helped clean up. Without any volunteers none of this would be possible. Thanks to all the volunteers.
